what is your aim?
what soundcard are you using?
because its obviously recording from a output on your soundcard.
the only ones i know that are known for this are creative soundblasters.
Not sure what soundcard..but its never happened before..not sure if its got suming to do with my multimedia speaker system

it has something to do with your soundcard settings
you need to go to the control panel, and then to "sound" or whatever it is on your comp...
then in that area, click the advanced tab underneath the volume properties
then change your sound settings so that it records through the mic and not off the stereo master channel...

Think this is what ya mean, n yeah after clickin OK, i turned the mic off n recorded n its still picking up the beat :-/
