A Statement to the Farmer
I think you're weak, and ya don't know how ta speak
ya didn't "turn yer cheek," ya just flapped yer beak
an', don't you even see? YOU'RE also layin' the blame
it seems you're actin' just like her, in fact you're strayin' from change
and I think I will continue, w/out usin mah sinew
but I got ta let ya know- you simply don't know what we've been through!
an if yer wantin ta speak w/me heart-to-heart
i need to tell ya,"wait a minute," cuz I'm just startin'-to start!
you're tellin me and tons of people a fake story, would ya quit it?
and about you searchin formally for glory, just admit it
You're showin' 'em yer poem, cuz from that yer ego's growin'
so tell us somethin that we never knew, like," Em is goin'
way off tha road of rap, right onto that of rock-n-rollin'
an' he's never comin back, in fact, all of his raps were stolen!"
That statement's so much better than what you had, to ask,
that I think I'll tilt my head BACK, an' fine'ly laugh at last.
Ha-ha! ya learned well! you know it's hypocra-"SEE"
when ya criticize tha rest, and your flaws ya fail ta see!
Very good; you're very smart! you can REALLY state the obvious
but when your friends are with you, do you sense a friendly ambience?
I didn't think so. ya tell us to,"give it a rest," and that we're not depressed,
and it's statements like this that I just detest
You wanna inform? Thanx, an' I appreciate the offer,
but I'd rather see my de-pressed friends, and get darker!
and even though it's my rhymes you may not like,
eventually you'll see my side, an' say I'm right
so I'm stayin' tight- an' you all should pipe down,
an' right now, I just need a lid to tight down
on top of this problem that i'm fight-in' right now
don't THINK for a minute that it's hype'll die down
an' right now, I would really like to find out
the answers to life and strife fo' right now
so why now, must we get sheep to fight now?*
I don't really know, so let it be goodnight, now.
I'd like some feedback, please.
*get sheep to fight now- this is an inside thing. Trust me, it makes sense at my school.
