One Love.. The World's End - SS Piece
One love was the first hate-crime against the individual,
Upon the eve of lime-lit overglorified impromptu ritual.
Smiles swarmed the streets precariously, leaning over their death,
For now emotion is the hallmark, the symptom, of those soon left.
The best of the worst's best, the worst of the best's worst, lost,
A chilling frost encases miles of inorganic tombs, the revolution's cost.
Looking into a mirror and seeing a grey figure, scarce hair,
Shriveled skin, drooping cheeks, before it fades leaving it bare.
A skeleton peers back, the destiny of those who care to care?
A flair of torn nostrels as flicks of blood embrace the dirty air.
Looking out of a partially shattered window, past the iron bars,
Calling to the mercy of Venus, Saturn, and the blood covered Mars.
The planets circle 'One Love' on the flickering plasma above,
A twitch in his side, a twinge of disgust, an empty notion of love.
Blank remenitions of lust amidst the cavernous depths of tears,
Yet, emotion is forbidden, questioning is the very torment of fears.
Never once has the new state been questioned, of course,
Indeed, in comparison, his voice appears horse, quiet discourse.
Remebering what happened? Or does he? Documentation says otherwise?
History rewritten under the flickeringly unnatural bomb-shelter lights.
Impervious to the screams and plights that bury individual frights,
Perfection's nice, but the truth is better, ONE LOVE is their days and nights.
Vehemently his brain pumps euphoric understanding, cracking the cipher,
"One Love... L..ove..One.. Another.." he spat, as if to spite her...
Peering up at the statuesque figure of a Party member smiling at all,
An unending enthusiasm from the ignorant cannot do harm, but enthrall.
Exactly the same as every single other human being in this disgusting world,
"IF I.. IF I HAD SEEN THIS BEFORE.. BEFORE NOW" his heart whirled..
"BEFORE THE REVOLUTION.." his heart gaining pace, a smile gathering,
"I WOULD'VE BEEN.. been.. SICK!" he said with frothy spit lathering.
'Exists' is an odd word today, in fact, it does not even exist today,
The very fact that it does not exist, confirms it exists, yet not in the slightest way.
Pure contradiction like this has mastered society, preventing individualism,
The thought of a deviation from collectivism, well, it's mere cynicism.
For me, the fact that our protagonist, whom I shall refer to as John, once existed,
Yet does not now, thus never existed, yet he is still mentally listed.
This denial of memory, of knowledge itself, CONCIOUSLY by a human being?
It disgusts me, I'm merely as sincere as you, except I'M STILL SEEING.
John carried off into the vast chambers merely grasped at history,
I'm still here, stopped by none so far, or am I now just a memory?
The contradictions of the many ensure individuality, yet they deny it,
ONE LOVE should be LOVE ONE ANOTHER.. Despite this empty shit!
Despite these words, true reality shall never be known, lost to One Love,
The maniacal party, taking power for the people, then laughing from above.
The very essence of One Love cannot exist, yet it does, in fact it is God,
Yet they say God does not exist, so ...
Silenced by a bullet through his head he utters.. "One Never Exists."
