[12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
A break will take place for the holidays. We won't be back until after the New Year. I think the timing was bad and I apologize, so for those of you who actually put in work, I thank you. Unfortunately, with the amount of people signing out due to the holidays, I can only think of 1 way to settle it at this point and give everybody a fresh start when we return. I'll take into consideration all of the sign-ins and sign-outs, but I can't see this working any other way. This thread is open for rebuttal, but I probably won't be changing my idea unless you've got something easily better. Also, for those of you who do need to show tonight...please do so if you wish to. Since the rule above shows that you will not be getting credit for a win, it's up to you. I'll close the battles tomorrow and if any have both verses, I'll leave them here. I know this is "wack" or "unfair" to some, but most people were not REALLY prepared and it shows in the amount of no shows and sign outs. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful holiday break and God/Allah/Satan/Dog bless you and your families! Peace!

ATTN: ALL OF YOU
Please vote on the matches ASAP. Also, as you will more than likely notice, some battles have changed. These new battles are full matches and fair matches, therefore allowing for fair voters to vote on them to get them closed. This is how I've decided to handle week 1 of SS with the no shows, hope this suits the needs of the league better. Any questions? Hit me up, but this is perfect for now. Week 2 will begin the Wednesday following the New Year, which I believe is January 6th, 2010.
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
Yeahh, just week 2 delayed basically..
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
uhm... perhaps you could clarify that first post so ppl understand that the battles still count and it's only that week two is postponed...
and if that's not what you meant... that's what you should mean
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
and really, i don't see what the holiday season has to do with anything...
matches went up on the 16th and closed on the 21st... since when are any of those dates a holiday? give the no-shows the loss like they deserve but ignore the one-week boot part of the rule seeing as the next week will be nonexistent anyway
it's not unfair to get a loss for no-showing... everybody has a life - that's why the ppl who want to be in a league (and in this situation maybe win a prize) sign up... it's a commitment - if you don't stick to your rules you set precedents... leagues can't operate without rules - and ppl don't want to play when the rules aren't predictable... at least it lessens my interest

Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
I agree, people who showed should get wins. Simple really, as they bothered to show and actually write. We all had that option and just because some didn't, for whatever reason, shouldn't mean that the league should reward it.
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
i think its a good idea about the holiday shit cuz im gonna be busy personally and i know alot of people will use it as an excuse to no show
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
so what? if you're busy you should have signed in. There was no point to start the league right now. There was also no point to change the match-ups after verses had been dropped. I hope this gets sorted.
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
Now hush and start voting lmao..
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
I don't see the point..... :/
There is no outcome so the votes have no meaning.
Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW

Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW

Re: [12/22/2009] League Info - UPDATED JUST NOW
