this battle was closer than i expected. took me a while to decide a winner & honestly, it could go either way. my vote is simply based on preference.

Shaman’s use of obscure punchlines can be annoying but it adds an element of creativity to the verse that’s deeper than the usual gun line number 6,000,000 we’re probly approaching. that being said, i liked the 1st bar. the second bar was forced. could’ve been executed better, but it was amusing. preston lacy made lol & i liked the closer’s set up line but the execution was eh. i get the hand soaring in victory but what’s that got to do with sawing logs lol.. unless it’s supposed to be a phonetic thing where soaring is sawing with an accent? i guess, but even so could’ve been worded a bit better. overall decent enough verse.

KnoXville’s verse confused me at first before i realized he was coupling multis. i thought it was decent. i like the knife violence mostly. i feel like a lot of the verse was cramped & forced though. & most of all, this verse was posted an entire 4 days after the first drop. not that there’s anything wrong with that, but realistically any verse produced should have been sufficient enough to sweep Shaman’s given the time taken to drop, and that wasn’t the case.

in times like these, i go with my gut & although i liked all the goriness of KnoXville’s verse, i liked the originality of Shaman’s more. seemed less forced & the humor took it further. shoutout to KnoX though. i’m a knife guy too, but i won’t let personal bias sway my thoughts.

Hey Jack, thx for the detailed input. I kinda agree with you that the second bar was a bit forced, but I wanted to get it in since that's literally what happened to Johnny Knoxville IRL. The last bar refers to him winning in his dreams, after having been knocked out. "Sawing logs" means to sleep and snore, because of the sound. So I don't know if you've ever seen somebody make the snoring noises from the brain injury after having been knocked out, but that's the snoring part, and in that condition it's not uncommon to have an arm in the air from muscle spasm, so I just took that image and made it into the judge raising his arm in his dream.

i feel you on that but my dude what you’re doing could be considered swaying so i’d advise against it. my best advice would be to include explainers in your verse if you have to. some dudes look down on that but some, like me, appreciate the break in research lol.

i didnt really like this battle. TheShaman, you were less punchy than what I've seen from your writing previously. what i am seeing is a bunch of disses that would go nice a filler if this were an actual audio disstrack. the rhyme schemes were nice but i was left feeling a bit unfulfilled as far as the actual punchlines. KnoXx was underwhelming here. I'm use to more brutal or offensive wp from you. The bars you dropped here are in the form of punches but are light and wholesome like a baby's fart. Overal i think KnoX saw an opportunity to coast to a win.

Shaman didn’t have much creativity in his punches. Very light. Could have capitalized on a few concepts but mad misses like he left the toilet seat up. Knox knocks harder than this. The two quotables were wordy but decent punches though. MV wild for baby farts lol
