Torn inside

Can you feel it in your spine? & if you cant just know that I can.
I sense the bad vibes when I'm breathing thru my diaphragm.
You haven't known me for life, cant you see how bright I am?
I saw you catching feelings, I had them 2 I understand.
I should of made a move, I didnt I'm just a fool.
I had to keep it cool so you wouldn't think i was a tool.
Day dreaming of me and U chilling by a swimming pool.
But because our situation, we may never be in tune.
So I look up at the moon, and think across the universe.
Why does God let me be this way, I notice that this is my curse.
I cant hide behind these curtains, but cant figure out my purpose here.
I should drive towards my dreams instead of remaining here in fear.
I'm tired of wasting all my years, tears I shed for lost souls.
I feel my skin getting thinner til I'm just skull & cross bones.
So any emotions that I have, I must learn to toss those.
Maybe later on in life we will meet up at a cross road.
