lost in nature so beautiful its capturing
inspiring my imagination to expand
the night sky and its radiant lights impress

time capsules full of memories buried in dirt
reminiscing our lives and the dances we took
imperfection perfected in the lords hands
family roots that travel highways of blood
discovering truth while uncovering lies
deceived by a rug that smothers my eyes
injustice is pain while justice is unseen
clinically insane, doctors lay blame

twisting and turning, roads never end
but faith is forever in hearts that wont bend
searching for change, lost in my thoughts
drifting away, nobody seeing how i feel
emotions are blinding, climbing the surface
