discriminating thoughts & sorting through files;
man's mundane moment stays constant within a day.
Struggle is quicksand,
ass deep while dragging feet in procrastination.
An excuse
for being one of a million -
no-one is considered IN these days;
gone, fishing' in other dimensions.
Our layer remains - tattered and torn,
we are flags of pride; stitched differently
yet look ultimately the same envision.
Callused to the bone that holds -
sturdy when working,
handling perfectly
steering a family.
Always up front so he never backs down -
days have paid his frame in pain,
& leathered hands are stained with perseverance.
Fresh dressed, yes! It is here and it's stressed,
blessed to do your best
just trying to mend & impress the rest.

in the same neighborhood as Uncle Sam;
he always calls the law.
When a house is homey, homies
watch a game or come by to play -
on the weekends.
Even after it's gone off the deep end.

If a man does not claim spunk,
shamed by a doing - downed & unpronounced.
A punk, in societies opinion...
A man, takes care of things -
brings home the bread, & feeds
the table has always had enough - for we.

even if it's required manually.

on his feet - & will take a seat

& lately it feels like a man - has bitten off more than he could chew,
missing points of a mission, fissioned with you...
This mans world -

legs soft from less rest. Running the world
