Welcome to reality.
no "soundcard" has pre-amps to clarify. the breakout boxes that come with some soundacrds..like syn suggested...have pre-amps in them.

you can get a condenser mic that doesnt require any phantom power i saw one on ebay but i havent been able to find it since. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAMES OF ANY CONDENSERS LIKE THAT AND WHERE TO GET ONE ??
you can go get a computer condensor mic at micro center those dont need pre amps
