Aesop Rock, amazing lrycist or babbling weedhead?

Personally i think he sounds great, but I dont even think he knows what hes talking about half the time.

His songs are rather hard to comprehend the lryics but sound intelligent and poetic none the less.

First time I heard him I thought was this omniscient black voice that couldnt have a face. I found his picture and was displeased to see him being a sonted looking white guy from the bronx.

Not that his songs are bad,I just wish hed make sense with him, he really makes you want to know what hes thinking.

Alot of poeple say that but but i can still listen to his songs all the time without losing ineterests

its like a challenge trying to understand his crazy wordplay.
Also if your baked he can trip you out like crazy.

I think hes vocab is amazing and maybe its not crunk but its still a expression of obvious talent

I love listening to Aesop, his name is profound and the stuff he says is cool but its just out of league with....everyone but him.

Aesop is a gifted thinker, there's no doubt about that. A lot of stuff he says goes completely over people's heads though. He's not for everyone, thats for sure. Personally I like him a lot, but not as an emcee, I respond to him more as a poet than anything else.

Bazooka Tooth I found very difficult to listen to at times, although 11:35 was an amazing track. I like him most when he works with bockhead.

esop rock is garbage beyond garbage. wack as hell. you will soon feel the same way just like everyone else that discoved him and though "oh its diffrent so its dope" then later thought why do they even listen to his wack ass....he is random bullshit he has admited it in an interview, that his fans are always briging him explinations to shit that dont even have meaning.

Aesop is talented and knows how to compose a steady crew. Def Jux has alot of ill heads to their name, and i think they will blow up.

But Ace himself is crazy... i like his rhyme structures because their never the same, and he is intellegent.

hes not deep, your just put to much effort into finding meaning in something that isnt there. he admited it himself that alot of his shit dont got meaning.
