I thought to post this thread after reading a pretty crazy article in this months playboy mag where the reporter gained access (don't know how) to the inner workings of a huge Canadian smuggling operation. The shop brings in about $20 million in profits per year (1 driver was making $100K per month…just sick). They talk about using helicopters to bring in hundreds of pounds at once, which is actually a pretty smart idea (being that the U.S. can’t patrol the entire border.) Any1 else read this yet?

I would say in pure volume, the numbers are higher from our boarder to the souht, but in terms of quality, I would say the northern boarder does beter in that sense. Now much of our own product is grown right here, and based on consuption, I can see why we need to find more avenues of import. Much of the product being trucked in from the south ends up on the east coast or ther areas that are buying the lower end shit, as a matter of fact much of it is shipped to other places in the world, belive it or not, one place being jamaica. I was like WTF don't they got their wown shit, but sure enough much of the Mexican product ends up there. lol. Once upon a time, I was contracted to work with boarder patrol to help design the systems they use today on the boarder to fight such traffiicing. the FLIR units equiped on many boader patrol vehicles are of our own design, just modified for such activity. I was paid to go to school to learn the drug trafficing trade, so I had both worlds of knowledge on the subject, was great. Just didn't pay well!
