Aimless Walk...

Sometimes eternity is around the corner
And aimless feet seem to find what eyes avoid
Its puzzling how we ball up our precious time
Throw away stolen moments we ought to hold dear
and write off ways to save steps
Take leaps of faith from the ground
Faceless shapes swaying in a crowd
Pacing towards timelessness...
Mimes in mysts rush hour authors
stepping pen to pad eyes to the skies
biding time wasting words...waiting in hope
Illiterate ties scraping their throats
Diction disguises worn emblazoned on coats
Its funny how we all strive for different dreams
but we sleep on the past where many answers lie
and we devise ways to reinvent what we never knew already was
Steadily pushing the envelope on old letters
Bold go getters stuck in the muck and mire of luck and desire
A fragile few, struck with fire from within
and taking strides with a pen
And as i find a friend in inspiration
Frustration i take in a step from my destination
and i drown in puzzled thought
our relationship no longer afloat
...on this troubled walk

Interesting poetry, Fresh to Death...

i definitely feel where you're coming from as i writer...you feel more like a spectator sometimes...you find the answers to today's problem in the knowledge of the past, and the same letters used for many hundreds of years find a new life, a new meaning, in the poetry you write...and you share this poetry with a few enlightened minds, blessed to understand where you come from...but by writing about life, you feel somehow distracted from living it maybe...

I really felt this piece. I have one thing to tell u though.

Frustration i take in a step from my destination" Never feel like u have to look for someone or thing to inspire u, the mere fact that u desire to move on makes u ur own inspiration.

Wow Fresh, i have to agree with wat was said this piece was brilliant, i really enjoyed the metaphors here but i think the subtle one u used was in the last few lines "and i drown in puzzled thought
