Anybody know of any good bass patches that I could get my hands on? Or can somebody tell me how to EQ them correctly to get that nice non-pluck sound?

ive had the same problem tryin to find good bass. tax and merge use Trilogy. im still tryin to get my hands on it tho.

if you wana get rid of the pluck sound and have the bass kick in rather soft, try n increase the attack rate.
If you are using Reason, most of the equipment (i.e. Malstroem, NN19,...) have that.
I'm not sure on other progs, but its mostly represented with an A, you may also see, S and R, these stand for, Sustain and Release.

if you want str8 bass with no plucks then use an oscillator. i use wasp in fl studio. dont try to filter out something thats already there. also, in Trilogy u can supposedly turn the plucks on and off.

good basses are hard to find .. but a real live bassist is always willing from my experiences with it.

if your usin a premade soundfont...especially in reason...turn the filter attack down...not the amp attack...that will fade your bassline in...but turning the filter attack down gets rid of that water "drop" pluck sound.

Someone on another board already told me about Trilogy, but that thing is about $300. Thanks to those that dropped but I forgot to tell yall that I use FL.
