    Virgil’s’ “Auri sacra fames”
    (The cursed thirst for blood)

Yeah…. take a look at your bracelet, or that shit you bought your shorty, even your watch necklace, teeth, earrings, and rings. You stunning right? Everything is gold now day’s gold or platinum…. do you even realize the significance of gold? This is the gold rush.
    Verse 1
Now roughly 40,000 B.C. fossil experts believe
Gold was a product conceived by paleothic man.
    Indeed
One could believe this event would lead the birth of mans greed.
Disputably that some say this is not true
But the first historical documentation occurred 6,000 b.c.
With no proof to concur the spoof
The only thing known is time increases the value through the roof.
In 3000 B.C. Egyptians adored their royalty in a precious metal
That later would be used in New Orleans beliefs to help the spirit settle.
Crossing the river Styx. Now im convinced
The biggest mistake happened around year 700 b.c..
When Lydia created a method for currency.
Switch the spectrum this “electrum” composite
27% silver and actual gold deposits 63.
Hence “Croesus of mermnadae” the last of Lydia’s king,
    Who amassed wealth from bling.
Look at the Greeks in 550 mining the Mediterranean Sea.
Where gold was first thought of in spiritual beliefs.
Quote Aristotle and Plato who wrote gold is of water and sunlight
Symbolic of Neptune and rah if seen in another light.
Is that right? Yeah and you can take that to the bank,
Funny how you can take that literal from words meant to be pranks,
    Let’s be phrank…
Them gold chains you wear different from the chains wore
By Brazilian gold miners who’s backs were worn
    From flesh tore since conquistadors.
Explorers, that traveled to teknauctekland before nasdec
    And pillaged murdering the Aztecs.
We wear it as a sign of respect, others wore it carrying another aspect.
From 1792 when congress had it priced 19.30 announced,
To 850.00 in 1980 and that’s just per ounce.
Each bar has a story this one barely will tell it
Paraphrase John Maynard Keynes calling it the “Barberic Relic”.
So think for a second, what you have how it was produced,
Bracelets for handcuffs and a chain for either chains or a noose.
That aint it but what’s greatly depressive
Is the F.D.R raised it’s value to assist the ‘great depression ‘
End learning session, if it’s costs 850.00 to understand,
damn I’ll never learn my lesson.

Really nice piece its strange ive read 3 dope Om's in a row im getting worried lol. I really liked this piece son, the concept was dope and you really did it justice a lot of people can think of good concepts but they never do it write they either fuck up the story or the imagery but you got it just right in this piece. The story was told well it wasnt rushed or shortened which i think would have a lesser impact. The imagery was very detailed it was a message in the piece too which i always like to read its better than reading thug shit all the time. There was a lot of emotion in the piece cause obviously wanted to do a good job because the concept was good. The piece flowed nice as i was reading despit a lack of multies but i always think as long as the story and imagery is tight then multies are not a must have. I really liked this piece keep posting yout Om's up cause im a fan of them, Peace.
