fears of ultimate complacency begin to fill me
i wonder how im going to survive successfully
everyday is a new struggle therefore i must be strong
put on a brave face and carry on, these days seem so long
seems like people never know where they are going
lifes complicated sometimes and now its showing
late nights and early mornings i only have myself to blame
i gotta change my lifestyle, my energy is beggining to drain
and as i get older things are becomming clearer to me
im 18 this year, and i got my best years ahead of me
theres decisions i gotta make, chances ive gotta take
for all these years cant be wasted on one silly mistake
Friends going in different directions, which path should i take?
be the bum, the worker or the learner.. makes your brain start to ache
seems i made the right decision, stayed on at school
my parents gave me hope, told me the brain is the best tool
well lets just hope they are right im very unforgiving
i dont want the stress and strife of ordinary living
but i guess we will just have to see
as the only thing i can be, is me
