    plain and imple...according to Op...the GOOD monitors are about...say...500 and up...so..either save u u8p another 200...or just get what you can afford at this point in time...

    Well, if you want my advice save up until you have enough for good monitors. Until then get a pair of good studio headphones.

    u should have a headphone amp if you're using more than one pair. also they're helpful if your soundcard doesnt have a headphone jack. then u want more of a monitor management system. in most cases you don't need either one of these tho.
