I had a dream of being a boxer, so i trained brutally
Elevated my guard status causing it to become my duty
Had a golden glove, boxing was my true destany
So i have no other choice but to become the best to me
Trained and sparred for hours, 6 days a week
I developed a sleek technique just so i can beat
I joined a leauge of boxing just to test my skill
They turned out agressive, so i was getting killed
They were quicker, stronger, and had more training
I couldn't do nothing more until i brung up my grade
That was having trouble maintaining, so i started complaining
Everyday i had a tutor so that meant less boxing
I guess school was more important and life wasn't rocking
I just felt like socking, just had a need to have a glove on
So i snuck out of the school and practiced until dawn
But i got in trouble because i did something wrong
Tutoring isn't where i belonged, in the ring is where i should be
If it wasn't for school i'd be there, I just could be
And i would be, but things are complicated so i debated
Boxing was extremly loved while school was plain hated
Over the month I brought my atrocious D up to a solid B
I just focused on boxing, school no longer bothered me
Over all the training and building up strength and speed
I thought i was ready, i had a feeling i was going to succeed
So i joined the B division and did pretty well for a newbie
People studied me with admiration even when they never knew me
After the first few matches I was 5-2, but after that i dominated
Brought my record to 15-4, i won the league and was congratulated
I got a trophie and inbedded in it was " Divison B Champion" in bold
And that day forward my dream was extremely ready to unfold
So i joined Divison A and wow did the compition get harded
I had a 3 match loosing streak, i thought my dream wouldn't go farther
But then i got angry and didn't give up, i won my next 6 fights, "wow!"
Then i won the next 3 matches and punches people lights out
My record became 19-6 as the end of the league grew nearer
And boxing was just automatic and it became much clearer
At the end of the season my record was 25-8 that was 2nd place
I was in the championship vs a man with a tough looking face
He had a record of 30-3, now i had to bring everything to the game
I just had to win so people would start respecting my name
That day came, the championship was into play, i was ready
The bell wrang, and my position was being held steady
I threw a left jab, right upper cut both blocked, he hit me
I felt a bit dizzy then suddenly became a bit witty
I moved forward, fake right twice, fake left, right hook
Hit him in the eye, got him by surprised, round 1 was in the book
The crowd was cheering for me, then round 2 was about to begin
I threw a quick jab left, right, right hook, left upper cut with a grin
He got knocked down, blood pouring, 10 count i was the winner
I had so much respect because i was considered only a begginner
I loved boxing, but it was sad that i couldn't become a pro
But i still had 14 years of A league left to go
