    Resolve.

    A glass of two day old orange juice,
    half empty;
    the final resting place to a roach.
    "What a stupid way to die."
    The words oozed through my mouth,
    then I felt,
    with something resembling epiphany-
    that this is the first roach
    to have it's own
    love poem.

    Argh, i liked it.

    I have to read it a few more times to interpret any deeper meanings but taken at face value this was great. Your tone is something i always admired man because you bring even the simplest topic to life. The word choice was excellent, not a single frivolous thing is said imo. I'm nominating, nice shit.

    At first when you said roach i thought you ment some one dropped a blunt in their orange juice lol, but yea, had to read the, "Thats a stupid way to die" line twice to grasp how it could resemble a love poem to a poor fucking roach. This was a very well thought out piece, not long and pointless, only a couple of lines but told ten times the emotional story most pieces do. I loved the way you think on this piece, it was ver mundane yet it's one of those poems you have to stand back and reflect on like a beuatiful sunset or a carl sandburg poem. Ver nice job Ex
