    Exodus 14:

    Exodus 14:
    Written By, Luke Bloomquist

    Lamb of god.
    Slave of mankind.
    Good intentioned propoganda;
    the book personified.
    Faith is the design,
    stenciled into the wings of a butterfly
    the split second before it is prey;
    a blade in beauty's side.
    Fuck classifications.
    Drum beats and microphone checks
    are the sounds of my hymns,
    while your 'Jesus' scratches the 1's and 2's,
    and gains rep as my DJ.
    My apostles are twelve cans of spray paint
    littering political art,
    upon the brick walls of Jerusalem's ghetto.
    16 bars can't sway a world of ignorance,
    but a bullet of knowledge and culture
    can make any man bleed for a lifetime.
    But if this brother's blood is tainted
    with society's love for aids and drugs...
    then the glock that threw that bullet of knowledge,
    had no culture, just a dissapointing vulture
    in the form of some sort of 'messiah'.
    My religion does not govern me.
    Stars and stripes? Get serious B.
    We wave our flag with pride as though it is divine:
    red for the blood of our enemies resignation,
    white for the representation
    of our anglo-saxon nation,
    and blue is the personification
    for the ocean;
    we have to throw the carcass
    of the american dream somewhere, don't we?

    Wow!, influential!, I can't fathom how many time's i've felt like writing something like this man. Your word placement was just crazy, I was truly facsinated by this piece. Just enspiring, heartfelt. Imagery was just so perfectly vivid...

    Good to see you back, this is Belligerent. Used to be in WV till I got voted out. You are the one that invited me

    This piece was dope. Like the Shadow Savior piece you wrote a while ago. I really felt the emotion here. It was deep and impactive. The Imagery was amazing and overall I saw the piece being done. I saw every little detail you added in the read. And that brings the readers in these days. The Wording was well done and used. And you had a Very fluent flow. keep writing.

    This is alot more 'mature' then some previous stuff man. It's got a comanding, "Listen up, I've got something to say" type of vibe, but with the poetic touch it doesn't come off as too preachy. This was concrete solid for the most part. The line about a bullet of knowledge/bleeding for a lifetime was brilliant. I would've liked to see some more transitional lines that connected your thoughts a bit better, some parts felt like it was almost listing. but thats just IMO, this was still a great piece.
