Journey Of The Seasons Part One.
Winter Turns to spring

tears cause a slow sleet
i am alone now, it's sad
all life is now extinguished,
the green grass craves rebirth
but I will stand in it's way
shielding my children,
to protect them from truth.
renewal, rebirth...
I build this container for them,
playing god?
no i am his employee,
Noahs tale repeated annually
but now instead of a storm
the sleeping arc only sails,
...upon frozen plains

*Crack...Crack*
The ice breaks

I can finally show a smile
Spring is finally in motion,
my vessel of bloom docks,
unloading my children
before the arc perishes,
falling into a watery abyss.
Life in all forms, I awaken
they rub away the slumber,
stems stretch for the sky
as blades of grass,
cut a path through the ice
to watch the clouds finale,
anticipation builds inside me,
as i break into tears so often.
and bring a rain on queue
...to baptise the new year

loved the delicacy of this ending... particularly the beginning of this section.

that was so nice. soft. definitely an image that will remain with me for a while.

enjoyed this... the second half more than the first... but as a complete package it was greatly felt.
