The trailer - watch that first, the video is 14 minutes and I'd prefer people who will watch it all to take a look and comment, and ya can pretty much tell from the trailer what it's about and if you'd like it or not.



A short film from Spencer Susser, an impressive take on the "zombie" effect sweeping a lot of films and books of recent years. I saw the 28 days... threads, and thought people would like to see it.

I'm at work so couldn't make out what was on TV...what was being said about it...

The explosion was horrible. The girl's shovel hits weren't strong enough to kill a fucking puppy.

Outside of that, it was pretty damn good.

I can see it being made into a complete feature film, stretched out to an hour or so. The director is in pre production to what I believe is his first feature film, and Rainn Wilson from the Office and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are set to star. Also Natalie Portman.

HESHER


TJ Forney is 13-years-old. Two months ago his mother was killed in an accident, so he and his broken dad, Paul, move in with his grandmother to pick up the pieces. "Hesher" is a loner. He hates the world and everyone in it. He has long greasy hair, a baby mustache, a Metallica t-shirt and homemade tattoos. He is malnourished and smokes a lot of cigarettes. He likes to get into fights. He likes fire and blowing things up. He lives in his van, until he meets TJ. "Hesher" is the story of a family struggling to deal with a loss and the anarchist who helps them do it.

Apart from the malnourished part, I would have been more interested to see Wilson playing that part. I find the premise interesting for the cast involved.
