Webcam battling (Admins Check this out)

ok...
i've had some thoughts about this...
and im not exactly sure how it would work..
but i thought why dont we have freestyle battles on webcams..
and make it so we have live feed on the website..
how that would work is up to the mods..
im sure their some sort of HTML code..
or else webcam sites wouldnt be around,
it would sort of be like pic battling,
exept live freestyling for the really talented cats.


the rules would set up a date and time,
for the battlers to "go live" and prepare.
idk just a thought, gimmie some feed...


oh and yes i did think about who would watch the battle
and regarding the votes...
i figured like some webcam sites can record live feed...
so you can either watch the battle live...or... you can watch the recorded replay and vote that way for those who cant make the battle for w/e reason...
it would be difficult becuase if it were a league we'd have to set up battlers not based ofntheir skill, but for time zones and such....

I was askin bout this some time ago...something about the flash players and us not having enough bandwidth to do it. but if this is just uploading a youtube? or I assume you mean live. again requires more bandwidth that we have im pretty sure. But it would be sick. I mean fuck it, i know id be down..

Its not just bandwidth its the software needed to run this. There would need to be a server side streaming software of which we do not have nor do I know if strobe would even allow it if we did.

You guys pay for the software($600 for the cheapest last I checked), and I'll ask strobe.

I think this would be a great idea, uploading them to youtube at the least. I don't battle, nor pay any attention to it, but if it was done this way I would. Live would be tough, because the battlers may be on different continents, times, etc, but yeah man, posting up a video would be pretty good. Im surprised text battling is more prominent than this, at all.



600$ is a lot of money, how could you make it up? A $ off every member, aha, yeah right
