this guy is probably the illest UK rapper. the whole group is consistent with hard hitting lines but i dunno, he just seems to stand out that little bit more.

this piece is just him on his own, no hook or anything. i dont see how anyone could not think is outstanding, well i dont know anyone that doesnt like it but im sure some retards will make irrelevant comments about the accent if youre not used to hearing UK hip hop. but just try to ignore it if it bothers you that much and pay attention to what hes saying. i think i need to raise some awareness, cant sleep on this shit!

Rhyme Asylum has some really crazy punches, I respect his writing alot. I bump his shit somtimes cus I really digg his punches.. truth be told the person in GrindTime that I check their music the most is Rhyme Asylum

The only problem I see with UK rappers is that they barely have any flow due to their accent. It's really hard to flow with words when you have a british accent but most UK rappers have top notch lyrics. It is an issue though even with the best lyrics rap is ENTERTAINMENT so being enjoyable to listen to is a big issue. I find most UK rappers really hard to listen to which is why I'd rather hear American rappers. Just my opinion though so don't take it as an insult.

yeah well its not an issue for me because im just outside london but i can understand how it may sound weird to people who arent used to it. i dont think rhyme asylum flow bad, but its also not something they particularly excell at either. they are mainly lyrical. check out "Multiplicity" by them though. they flow hard on that because they carry the same multi syllable rhyme scheme all the way through their verses, its sick!

there are uk rappers with mad flows though, like Klashnekoff and foreign beggars. this is probably my favourite of theirs

Im not down with the individual emcees outta Foreign Beggars, but the high pitched kid does his rapid flow pretty nice, there's another dude whose broken down comatose flow is smooth as fuck and compliments the beat;

Skinnyman is another dude who can flow tight too. I think american dukes have predisposed misconceptions about Uk artists because you probably hear the wrong dudes, if I took the soulless money driven recording artists from the states (who dominate the market right now) and from them crafted an opinion on the entire state of hip hop over there, I would be wrong and ignorant - I ain't and don't though because I've been listening to hip hop since I was knee high and through accidents was exposed to the right kinda artists growing up.

The song that English posted wansn't too bad but I wouldn't listen to it on ocassion. And the reason why no one from the US has a positive image of UK rappers is that there hasn't been a UK rapper who has been AMAZING (or a smash hit). So no one from the US will need to go look for UK rappers when we can find some good underground rappers in the US. Again like I said earlier my personal opinion no insults towards UK.
