    FL studio 9 help

Im having a bit of bother with FL 9.

When I play a sample from the folders in the left hand window, say; a guitar string, it sounds fine. but when I drag it into the sequencer and play it, the sound is all high pitched and distorted. And there's a really long delay/decay with it.

I didn't fuck about with any of the settings, so I don't know what it could be.

    Any help?

    Its probably the time stretching.
Drag the sample into the sequencer..click the sample and tell me what its set on.

Hmmm....the knobs and switches seem to be exactly the same, though the bottom graphic is different:

BTW Ra, are you the producer on that Jazzscapez album?
I downloaded that a few days ago. The beats are fuckin sick.

One of the producers I work with uses FL but has madd plug ins. I use Cool Edit to record vocals but I been using it for 5 years so I'm pretty nice with it now, same goes for FL, depends on the experience you have with the program.

Normalizing his sounds will only make them louder.
He needs to set his time stretch setting to "none" as the video states.
