Battle writing is to be a standard 6 bar( as in 12 line) battle. A mark must be made to allow easy differentiation from the prior topical 6 bars. No use of bold, italics, or different font in an attempt to manipulate the eye towards certain words. Additionally, punctuation can only be used when it is grammatically correct.

The 1-2 punch is to follow the same rules as the battle.

The check in must include at least two voters to be excluded from participation.
