My mind leaves me endangered like Pandas in the zoo,
nobody ever has a clue as to why I fail to pursue.
My whole life I've felt consumed by tragedy and gloom,
so the pain is all I know like Bane speaking the truth.
These chains are like a noose, my rage sparks the roots,
the flames carve the roof off my cage, I start to bloom.
As I age, my heart infused with strains of carnivorous views,
I stop and wonder till I become delirious and confused.
Why so serious? Watch the news. The world is droppin' nukes,
Donald Trump is up for president, Kanye wants in too.
Police die helping residents, Russia is killing troops.
Our opinions are irrelevant and there's nothing we can do!
I try being benevolent but it's so hard during abuse,
like anything that's "Heaven sent" is wearing Satan's shoes.
Our country, we can't question it, or treason will be our doom,
we ignore all the messages and pretend it'll be over soon.
Look at all the damages that hate continues to produce,
there's no longer a looking glass for us to even see through.
We've all been so ignorant, absorbing the lies that they spew.
It's these times that a depression makes people break in two,
when we need to come together and wipe Isis from their ruse.
I'm not sure what it is but we're desperate for a muse...
I'm just tired of seeing my country repeatedly sing the blues...
If somebody has an idea, please, feel free to speak your mind...
neither Trump or Hillary know the difference between wrong & right...
we live on a dark planet where we're forced to survive...
but it's become difficult since our government refuses to fight...
If terrorists come to my front door, bet your ass they're ready to die...
but until then I have to sit by and worry about innocent lives?
Clinton ignored the signs and Benghazi happened over night...
Trump is a billionaire that'd rather watch himself personally thrive...
Neither understands that freedom comes with sacrifice...
and people still want Bernie but he sold out for Democratic pride...
There isn't much else I can say, so unless you're deaf or blind...
why vote at all when what we want isn't even above the dotted line?

this i dont entirely agree with. Hillary wants to live in this borderless world and just deal with terrorists attacks because killing people who want to kill us is not the American way according to her. Trump at least wants to close borders, better screen people coming into this country and denying the undocumented people, and take the fight to these fuckers. . but moving on

Nice way to close out the piece. Flow wasn't as pristine as the opening segment but was good. Overall, solid drop - bro. Message was definitely put out there and it made sense. I enjoyed this. Reason why? It's not like your typical topical piece where I needed a thesaurus in hand in order to decipher the message being put out there. This was like an off the top - get off your chest piece which I enjoy and respect.

This was pretty dope. I normally don't listen to/read political rhymes, but this was good. I'm a novice, so my favorite line/bar was the "Looking..glass" one. This flowed well too, which at first glance I didn't think it would for some reason. I'd point out my favorite parts. But it would be pretty much all of this.
