CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHUP
Letterman (Champ) vs EnBombz (#1 Contender)
This is going to be a pretty solid battle, I think. Letterman is fully capable of dropping some wicked bars, if they aren't water gun/squirting references and/or played and outdated bullshit. I think, due to his opponent being fairly new to the text world, he has the upper advantage here. This will be a battle of the lesser played material, IMO. Who will be the victor? Let's see... Enbombz is a personal striker... He liked the take the agressively personal approach when facing off against his opponent... As where Letterman is more random when he comes to writing a verse... Conceptually - Letterman may be the more experienced battler but as far as striahgt forward/direct - I think Enbombz got the edge here. I don't think I've seen Lett drop a nice wicked personal verse, tbh... This battle will come down to who drops the lesser of played bars - as for me? I think Letterman may pull the edge here, pending where Enbombz stands as far as being motivated to body someone or not.

Contenders Matchup
KnowP vs Joe Boston
Hmmmmm.. KP's coming off a big win, against Allen Knight aka Arm Anderson (WTF? LOL). Me personally - thought that battle was a lot closer then what the votes projected but it was a pretty solid match-up. Joe Boston's one of those dudes that you can keep beating his ass, but he comes back for more... Joe's been around for some time now and has improved a lot but still not that the level of penmanship you'd think he'd be for someone that's been around for about a decade. I think wording is definitely an issue for him - and his concept selection/usage. He's that NEWS REPORTED waiting outside of the HOOD waiting for something to pop off, so he has a concept/story to cover the next morning. So if something goes down on CNN, just sign in to RB and read a JB verse, cause 10 times out of 10 - he'll drop some horribly worded concept on the vent that took place on CNN the night prior, LOL. As far as these 2 facing off, I strongly believe KP has the upper hand here... He's just a more agile writer... He knows what the readers want to see and he's going to do exactly what the sheep want him to do for the Win. As where Joe's going to attempt to drop something that can go 1 of 2 ways... Grab the edge - because KnowP got caught sleeping or catch a beat down... We'll have to wait and see which side of the fence Joe's going to be on come deadline... In the meantime, I think...
KnowP takes the WIN comfortably.
Smog vs War Shack (Bash)
This has potential to be battle of the week, if Shack isn't burned out from working 360 hours in 7 days and Smog isn't driving from South Cali to North Carolina. I think if both writers take their time here conceptually - this has potential to be the match up of the week. Smog's come a long way and has proven he's a force as for Bash has got some high caliber battles under his belt as well. Smog's a personal attacker and likes to strike where he knows it's going to land effectively and do some damage. War shack on the other hand, can be random with his selection of concepts but wording seems to carry some of the under whelmed concepts he delivers. Both have some room for improvement in delivering/wording concepts but both have successfully paved their legacy's here in the new day and aged RapBattles.com LLL Battle League... I've seen these dudes throw punches around for 4 seasons straight and both remain as one of the new GEN top contenders here, so this one will be a pretty nice battle, if both can remain focused.
This can go EITHER WAY, and BOTH BETTER FOCUS. I want to see a DOPE battle.
Mac. vs Slowhands
Mac is typically the underdog in most scenarios. I also think he's HIGHLY SLEPT ON. Macs been in and out of the text game for about a decade, I believe and he writes the same way every time. Don't let his record fool you... The dude has bars, if he isn't pressed for time. I'd like to be optimistic and say, the majority of Mac's L's are because of him No Showing rather then losing (I'm fairly certain lol)... Slowhands, on the other hand goes wayyyy back. Slowhands and I use to have some wars way back when... When this site legit had competition in EVERY SECTION. I remember, I had to legit prove myself and beat some top heads in order to be INVITED in to LLL. Those were the glory days the new faggots have no idea about, LOL. Slow is coming off a long Hiatus, but in due time - he'll be back where he once was... One of the consistent top brawlers. I think Slow can come off his cold streak and grab the W, if he puts forth the effort. He's a pretty dope picture battler too... I remember Slow and HUSH use to go AT IT, BOIIIIIII hahaha... Them 2 niggas HATED one another... I can't front - I use to wish the nigga got his shoe laces tied, while he was sleeping in his bunk by his fellow marine, and he walked out in to a land mine feild, tripped and ever limb triggered a land mine... DEAD ASS! Slow's a lot more humble now then back wayyy when he was really active and battling, LOLOL... Either way...

Unfukwitable vs boston
Unfuk is one of the more creative writers here in LLL. Dude will make ANY WORDPLAY work. And I consider myself a wordplay wordsmith but FUKWITz has dropped some mind blowing material here and there, boiiiii. Boston? I'm not to sure who you are but hope you know how to construct a nicely worded punch, because you are going to need too in order to even attempt to place a blemish on UnFuks record. He's a problem and creative with his punches. His only flaw is wording and harshness when delivering some of his witty concepts. If he's mastered that in the time he;s been gone, dudes legit one of the top contenders here in LLL this season.

The Real Spit vs OG Maestro
Spitacular himself, has returned for another season! That's dope man... Spit's one of the more humbled vets here at RB. Dude just shows up and writes bars. Probably one of the more direct/personal attackers and one of the better ones to ever do it, I might add. I think Spit is a lot better when he knows his opponent and/or he picture battles. Dudes got a wicked style that no one can actually replicate because his bars a condensed, short and right to the point ALONG with witty. Something a lot of you females that have too much too say can't imagine ever doing. I could probably read 6 bars from Spit in 1 breath as where some of you niggas - a dude need cardio training to get through the 1st bar, lol. Nah but Spit's definitely known here at RB and has definitely earned his spot in the Legends section. He's had some ALL OUT WARS with the best of them right here on the Main stage of LLL. OG is one of the new GEN writers here at RB. Started off topical, I believe and made ITS way to the battle side of writing. OG has improved A LOT. I still think there is a lot of room from improvement but has definitely proved he's no slouch and if you CHOOSE to sleep, you're going to pay for it. This should be an interesting battle, as both are coming off a hiatus and will have some rust to shake... I still think....

Lay Doubt vs Packed Graves
Another battle of the week potential. Lay Doubt, like Spit is one of the older LLL veterans here. He's been involved with some great all out wars with the best of them, as well. Coming off a LONGGGG hiatus, Lay Doubt is stepping in to see if he can hang with these NEW GEN ERA TEXT BATTLERS, lol. My nigga Packed Grizzy Graves! Has come back fro ma hiatus as well. So like Spit and OG - both are going to be shaking some rust... I'm still certain both will provide us voters with a war of bars, tho! Packed hasn't been gone as long as Lay but he's been gone for some time now... I'd say - not writing a verse for 90 days or longer isn't no where near as not writing a verse for YEARS, almost a decade. So much has changed in the text game from today to a decade ago... People are stoked about "THAT'S A W/E" bar like the URL and KOTD battlers drop, which IMO - is trash. Another reason why the new GEN text battlers bore the fuck out of me... They are trying to duplicate dude who battle face to face when text is just that.... TEXT. I expect more wit, creativeness in a text verse... Anyways, I think this battle will be close as fuck and still is a potential battle of the week - even tho, both are rusty!!! So w/ that being said...

So there you have it. LLL Week - 14 Card and Previews by the GOD himself. TO everyone who showed up last week, good shit. For those that did not show up, good shit faggot - you can stay the fuck out of the league because you're cancer to the text game. To everyone who voted, that's whats up! This league will only be as DOPE AS YOU GUYS MAKE IT. Us mods are only here to provide you with some type of enthusiasm and ammo. You guys have to fire the weapons, tho. The league will only be as good as you make it. Let's keep showing up and dropping them votes guy! Keep the league running smoothly!
Also - I am working on tweaking a lot of the rules that are currently in LLL. Looking to make it more member friendly but close the gaps to allow for a much more successful league to battle in. It's in the works, so if you dudes would like to read the current rules and provide some input, I'll be sure to take it in to considering when editing and laying down the rules for the following seasons to come.
