Option 3- you sleep with their loved ones in front of this S/O, you do things you know they hate, you piss in their oatmeal etc until they die BUT log each activity and write them a love letter in said log.
When they die they will come back as an angry ghost just to haunt you, to which you present this log.
They forgive you, you never lose them.

i guess it all depends on what your goals in that relationship were prior to that happening...
if it was not a serious relationship, then id say move on...
but if this was someone you had life plans for, and decided to just move on after they got sick, that would make you a huge piece of shit in my book...

Not sure if anyone here has been round enough to remember but this actually happened to me.
My ex got cancer and died 3 months after our baby boy was born.
All I can say is cherish each day, spend as much time with them as possible because when the time comes, you miss them like crazy.

i did NOT know that happened to you...im sorry to hear that....i cant imagine how you felt and probably still feel... having a child is the most amazing feeling in the world...but it has to be a bit conflicting when the child also reminds you of a lost loved one every time you look at them...
