Topical scene has been dead since the RIA split off in 2011-2012. Anybody that says "oh, there's been lots of dope leagues since then" didn't pay much attention to the quality of those leagues. The audio scene pretty much died a few years ago after the VBL went to shit. Text is hanging on by Lesnar's single pube. So yeah.... it's been a minute.
Do you think it might just be the times? This place was packed and flooded in the mid 00's... The battle and underground scene was huge at the time... I'm not even sure your typical late teen or early 20's year old even knows what a battle is these days, not only to mention rappers don't even rap anymore.
