Sitting here
Thinking about what's going on in my life
I pray to fade away strife
I cry to get things off my chest
Pain put to rest
Getting myself together
Everything is gonna get better
Devil trying to break me down
but I show him I'm stronger
Gonna stay high till the day I die

Emotion is there but the overall lyricism in the verse pretty basic. There no use use of metaphorical expression to make the verse stand out and bring attention to the reader.

I liked it because sometimes people on here get TOO fluffy... it’s annoying to get thru all the metaphoric poetry... keep it up and keep it simple - I mean today when your thInking about bars... at least it makes sense
