Science Lies by Brendan Annandale

The world keeps on spinning like a record that plays
sun shining down every day with its celestial rays
nothing seems good enough when your on a quest to be great
and i believe that i will be, i guess that its fate
living in a place where people are shaped by the impressions we make
blessings and faith, charity work, at church collecting the plate
in a jungle of lies, we all cry under the sky, smothered and tried
masquerading as something disguised, but truth has nothing to hide
countries divide while people multiply, and i'm doing the math
it adds up to a fast pace where everything is moving too fast
all this vanity is insanity, staring at the mirrors on our walls
has got us barely hanging on to confidence, in fear that we'll fall
whats perfect is imperfect, whats true is an honest opinion
to get your confidence singing it goes way beyond whether we're winning
we're all exhausted from living in a mosh pit, sedated with bad news
and if you feel tired of life, there's probably a medication for that too
if you really wanna feel better, you should get praying and try the sky
you might spend your whole life believing only to find out science lies
