We back! 9 battles after a bye week is pretty fucking good, it's looking like the season is gonna close strong. 3 weeks remaining including this one and playoff positions are pretty much up for grabs, I think even new sign ins could have a chance at getting in if they go 3-0. The 80s cypher was dope, props again to @plethora for the idea. I closed it today and I'll decide the winner before this week closes. Lastly, big props to @BashEmUP and @Jit for helping out with the mag. Only reason I was able to get it done to keep it 100 lol. Enjoy and bring some heat this week.

WEEK 13 REVIEWS
JEM vs Jit
Decent battle here, ended up being an upset imo. Jit has dropped some heat this season but he's been in a mini slump over the last few weeks. Even still I would have considered him the favorite here, but JEM came with a strong verse and got himself a nice W. I gotta give him props, he's been showing improvement and this battle might have been his best showing yet. Hopefully that trend continues and he could be a problem.
Sinning vs RicanTheoryz vs Phalanx
First and foremost, anyone that didn't like the SRT line was tripping. That was the lotb imo. Phal had a decent showing for his first battle, hopefully he's just knocking some rust off and has some heat coming. Sinning kinda had a old school style here imo, I thhink he just needs a couple more battles under his belt. Rican had a cool confession booth line, but just wasn't as consistent as Phal in the end.
Blue Bayou vs King
40 motherfucking lines. Ugh. Props to Blue for a dope verse, he brought some fire and to be consistent and creative for 40 lines is tough as fuck. Also props to everyone who voted on this, not easy to breakdown all those lines lol
CONTENDERS MATCH
GrimmReaperz vs Plaz
Decent battle, both had some bars land. The difference ended up being the end of Grimms verse ultimately. Dude started off strong then fell off. I was feeling the drunk text bar though. Plaz is another guy I think has been getting better. Consistency won him this battle in the end, he stayed on the attack and got the W.

BashEmUp vs Plethora
Close fucking champ match this week. Both had solid verses and really made it tough for voters. So god damn tough we had to cancel a week just to get it closed lol. Bash opened up really consistent, up until the last 3 bars I thought his verse was going to be a lock to win. He fell off a little after that but still had a good showing. Plethora also brought it, i thought pats on the back was dope af and his verse was also pretty consistent.

SiQ vs For Battling
I’ve read a few of Zelphs battles before, even though he can hardcore troll dude aint bad. Bars can be grimey in spots, url kind of. Which isnt a bad thing depending on preference. Never heard of SiQ but he votes on everything so i like em already. Read a drop from in the FL and he’s not too shabby. Should be a fun read.

This should be a nice read. Both are good in their own way. Jit has been pretty consistent on both sites. Wording can hinder him in spots but if there was a guy capable of an upset it could be him. Greedy the homie. He’s been dropping some nice shit in the 1-2 & the cypher. Both of them really. I dont think rust will play a factor here and i think Greedys gonna use a ton of wordplay lol.

Grimm aint bad. Not always my cup of tea like his colleague but he’ll occasionally have bar that makes me nod here and there. I like his wording at times when its not super drawn out. Phalanx nice. I remember him from a few years ago. Nice to see him active again. His execution is good. Got alittle bit of an old school feel in his verses but it doesnt make them bad. Cant beat the classics. I got Phalanx winning via uber NP’s.
