Prologue
Friday, February 16th. 9:50 a.m.
The morning long ago began, Art awakens from a peaceful slumber.
The unmistakable sound of a door closing resonates in the background, soon followed by the sound of a Volkswagen Beetle engine starting
Art considered calling Spencer when he realized no trading of phone numbers had prior transpired. A tear trickled down to Art's quivering lip. His morning ruined, Art turned on his television and popped in a DVD of season 2 of Sex and the City which usually calmed him down. Art poured a fresh cup of Chock Full O Nuts coffee (which he selected because of the implication of the brand name) into his favorite coffee mug which featured a strapping man with a moustache whose superimposed clothes vanish gradually due to the heat of the coffee. Before taking a sip, he added a fair amount of sugar and soy milk and sat down to his computer and logged into rap battles. He went to the LLL section and saw he was placed in a match against Mr. Eye.

but this is a poem not a battle rap. you need to structure your punches. try looking at 1-2 punch. then copy that formula x5 and you have a verse. you can and in schemes/or angles/double punches. but the thing you did here is like a slight diss.
