I aint religious, but I grew up wit religious
Grandparents so as kids, this was all I was told.
N’ its time to use it, because Christmas has
Been thrown way out of proportion over the
Past years…………………………..so remember..
.. Behold The Birth ..
A virgin un-preparing, for the baby she didn’t knew she carried
A vision constantly staring, at the glowing white that spoke to Mary
A change upon her day, listened intent to what was next
Agreed but had no say, in the babys’ purpose, name or sex
A night never missed, for the birth of the lord of hosts
Showered with gifts, from three men, wiser than most
The meaning not understandable, from the star they saw
Bent over were animals, n’ a wooden crib filled w/ straw
Screaming Mary, a babys’ voice, a look to the truth
The angels’ rejoiced, as they lived the book of luke
Passages read in heaven, God has his own accord

He knew he’d need them, when he took 5 fish n’ fed 5 thousand
Cured what was terrible, did what he was called to do
Preached his parables, n’ teachings to the multitude
He listened and heard, uplifted his best
Taught of the word, n’ predicted his death
His future’s mind enabled, but he had enough turned
Visions of men in betrayal, cross n a last supper
.. Behold His Fate ..
A Son of a virgin, n’ another to a builder
That’s when judas turned in.. his life for some silver
Romans ended their search, But peter drew his knife
Jesus calmed his worth, though he served his life
Peter slit the guards ear, revealed the blow
But jesus, despite his fear, healed it so
He seen his life visibly, n’ never missed the weak
As judas got in close proximity, to kiss his cheek
“Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a Kiss?”
N’ with this, they slapped cuffs upon his wrists
Trial he stood, knew the day, cant bring it down
But he knew to pray, n’ strayed from the chants of the crowd
Let the people talk, n’ the cursings be tossed
Let the thief walk, n’ handed the messiah the cross
Walked down the street, standard prevailed
Strangled his hands n’ feet, with hammers n’ nails
Some couldn’t watch, Just to disgust to the core
Their fires hot, for the spilled blood of his pores
A hill bled three, one that begged for his wronging
Men turning weak, n’ one wanted his own belonging
The criminal was content, now he wasnt scared to die

As the situation worsened, he handled his business
For the people that hurt him, he begged forgiveness
He would be the last to die, as it was written
As he looked to the sky, “It Is Finished”

Christmas morning, remember the roots
This is a warning, to remember the truth
You know the story, believe or you guess
But before god rests ye marry gentlemen.. Remember why that ye rests..
