deep cuts usually put you into shock, so you don't feel a thing... apart fom the shock, which can be unpleasent. But you die quite quick if your neck gets cut open.
some nasty shit about pigs is they can smell the fear in other animals shit so once one pig 'knows' its gonna get it it shit/pisses and leave a fear scent then the other pigs down the line start shitting them self and get 'scared' some die of heart attacks before they get to the stun part of it. With cows usually here in the uk the bolt goes though the top of the skullright above thier eyes (were asin humans the fore head is the stringest part its not true in cows) the bolt then rams through the brain and destroys the cerebellum (the part of the brain were the spainal cord meets the brain tissue) thus killing instantly. (you gotta imagin that the bolt is flying incredibly fast.) i also got told that then the slaughter man shoves a rob down the hole into its spineal column totaly fucking it up lol but i aint 100% on that part... with halal meat they usually stun the carcus after its throat is slit as they only belive in sliting the throat before stunning but again im not sure on this...

this is the way it is done most the time..but sometimes they just hit it in the back of the head with a hammer a couple times then slit its throat the proceed with the guitting technique...
and i guess the argument is....you can kill a pig as long as no one knows about it cause i got some somoan friends and for the past god knows how many christmases and new years theyv killed about 3 pigs every year so...i guess as long as peta dont know...

I have mixed feelings about that video. First, it's for consumption so there's nothing wrong with a little pig meat. Second, the guy starting laughing psychopathically near the end, so that kind of degraded the killing of the pig. But yeah, I still have mixed feelings, so I'm kind of neutral in opinion.
