The emotion you put into it was good. It will be important to transfer it to audio, where it will hold the piece together. You were pretty descriptive, which helped to get your feelings across. Adding the chorus made the peice seem more complete. For the song you plan to make, it's going to be more about the emotion, since the verses are kind of simple.
