I was raised up in the streets of harlem
I never knew my father, and my mom had a drug addiction
i wonder why God gave me this life with all these bad situations
I was the oldest out of the six kid my mother had
there was no money, and problems were gettin real bad

i made a promise that i would leave just until i made enough money
so i always looked at the bright side, knowin that it wasnt easy

everyone in my family lives was getting better but mine
i guess thats the sacrifice u make if u want things to be fine
my brother is makin it to a good college learnin to be a lawyer
i guess my job is done, theres no need to work any more
i told my pimp i was leavin this game but he laughed at me
tellin me that i was in this until im buried six feet
this is not what i planned for, i told him that it was time for me to go
he said i was his best hoe and im not leavin until he said so
i knew i had to leave before my life get taken away
so i planned a stratergie that only took a day
i was gonna buy a ticket to florida and live wit my mother
this is what i needed to do since things aint get better
i told my brother the situation and he encourage me to go
so i left early the nxt mornin and caught a cab to go
i arrived at the airport to find out that the plane was being delayed
i got anxious and thought what if my pimp found out what will happened
but i brush that thought away and began to pray
i said dear lord i know we havent spoken for while
but i know u was protectin me till this day
i dont know how to thakyou but please help me be safe
i know ive done bad in the past but lets look at the future
i would go to church and become a christian anything u want

as i said amen, i felt someone grabbed my arm
i tired to fight but the person was strong
i looked up and saw it was him the person holdin me back
he picked me up and i just felt a big slap
i told him to let me go as i fight for my freedom
but theres was nothing i could do and the place had no one
he brought me over to a car where he later beat me
i cried myself to sleep as i layed tormented and abuse
i had no choice but to turn to drugs thinkin i could find love there
but the only thng i got was another problem and an eyes full of tears
i wonder to myself and ask how he found me
no one else knew other than my brother and me
i thought my own blood betrayed me but finally
i found out that my brother was dead tryin to protect me
at the age of 32 i was dying suddenly
my brother's life was tooken away cause of me
i though to myself was the only way out was the same one in
so i killed myself knowin tha it was the end
the lesson i learn about comin in this game
was that it is impossible to leave i guess its no way out

yo i read both of ya verse and j-blaze u took this because u had vocab, and even though it was long it kept me readin, this was one of the nicest peice i heard yet and qwent ur structure was off, i didnt feel ur vocab while blaze in the other hand took that topic and ripped it u feel that why blae got my vote, good verse though

this goes to blaze for a better verse he had vocab and his flow was there he took the topic and made it into a struggle in his verse, he the topic interestin. even though it was long it still had me readin, he brought out every detail. qwent ur flow wasnt there i wasnt feelin ur vocab and ur structure was way off no hate that y blae got my vote.

this goes to blaze he made his verse more interestin, qwent when i was readin ur verse it didnt attract me u had no vocab and ur structure was really off so i dont know what to say but that blaze got this because he had a better overall verse aight man better luck next time aight son.

Yeah ima vote for blaze on this one.His verse was a lot better and it kept me readingI liked his vocab but structure was'nt the best and I think you should aim to improve on that.Qwent I think you just thought this was going to be a 10 line thing.Dawg you had an hour to work on this you should of came up wiyh more in that length of time.I didn't feel your flow and your structure was bad.All I can say dawg is learn from other battles and jus elevate but no hate dawg you just doing your thing.
