so its understandable that im drawn to u after u drew me so close
u saved me from a certain life, from grieving over supposed strife
u showed me the light, opened my eyes to a world outside of mine
and itd be a lie to deny it, since my freedom allows no censorship
my explicit thoughts and dreams, now render under no irrelevance
u see, in my homeland, i was equipped with nothing and knew less
my prudence there was the reason i turned towards the great u.s.
and thats the whole point i write my love, because u allow me to
as thru this love letter, hopefully u see, that heather is america too.

To get feelings off my chest and suggest something better
I watch you pick on the little kids and take their lunch money
