just a matter of fingers lingering the chatter of instance-
could tatter prenatal sable within a fable matter of inches;
table skins malt-those legs and grow single swivel wheels
as malt liquor fingers cellos strings along a symbol zeal,
you clutch your fingers - keel ... the clutch drifts to burn
as the driver shifts to third your chest rejects a single word.
this dying console's old/versed - soul slips - cold lips
... a battle of time: 9 months vs the bullit.

life itself remains hidden in time capsules of black
find myself hunting for ideas - but my mind only captures the facts
wish i could make love to the heavens in one passionate act
of passing God my soul and God passing his back
yeah, perhaps i'm just old fashioned and sorta wishy washy
but i just wish he'd wash me in holy water and rinse these sins off me
instead of sautering my heart to burns of impurity
my mirror image is my nemesis - not even sure it's me
if you were to see that image of a man drowning in tides of currency
what if it weren't me? perhaps it'd be you - see the emergency?

the man holding a noose in hand stands two steps from edge
with empty heads and folding hands as new breath is left for dead.
wasted true life - painted in gray for effect - is maidened tonight,
because the pages are frayed, they've hesitated to write.
a birth submerged in urgency still takes nine months time to bloom
death takes but a second yet cycles for lifetimes to find a womb
for rebirth - regeneration spanning three generations
planting seeds and with patience - watch them be - through inhalations

yesterdays philosophies in oddity next to presently commodity;
modern dammned>trust in common man and exigency breeds dishonesty.
artistic tuition's are simply gimmicks - bong hits and hallucinogenics,
acid trips and speed balloons to visions we call obtusely eccentric -
but plastic and purchase, unwrap it and search his erratics for worth best
discerned as fanatic-unlearned passages backward matters of phor-met.
and as contemporary stands temporal, the sands descend a world:
extend a nation beyond education as the hands of heaven unfurl.
this is the world - this is the nutshell the squirrel pick up in hell
before dollar bills filled the trunk & we learned to teach corruption well.

understanding existence is the whole mile - life, just an inch
we trust our sense as omnipotence and consider coincidence just a glitch
we lust to make love to earth - fondle and enter the crust of it
but when fantasies get crushed to bits we must admit life's just a bitch
pursuing knowledge perusing college text is merely brain sex
so i spend that quarter of my life on cloud nine cashing rain checks
earning words as wages thus turning earth through spaces
hoping that these terms evoke the learning curve of sages

Wow, this is like the dream collab for me lol. I was expecting great things here, and you didn't let me down. I was totally feeling this whole peice from start to finish. Neither lacked much, and this collab was pulled off very well. Legendz you provided the amazing flow and great rhyme scheme, I couldn't stop reading your verses, and I was really interested in what you wrote here, so props dude. Atti, you came with your usual great metaphors and of course since it was written by you, it gave off a very poetic vibe, which seeing as I'm a poet first and foremost before anything else (although I have been very inactive in PS lately), really made me enjoy this. So yea nice peice dudes, definietly HOF worthy. Props.

Legendz- Your parts had great flow and rhyme scheme to them i liked that part alot it was very smooth, Your emotion was strong and your imagery was very well put togheter.. very well wrtitin on your part

Atti- This like all your others was just great... you always collab wit people that will really accentuate (or however you spell that) your writing abilities. you had great metapors like always in this... nice emotion imagery was strong.. I fell this could also have been put into PS becuase of the vibe you had comming from your pieces... very nicely done here the both of you...

i heart abstanti. finally putting up a collab, fuckers... anyway, dopeness, you guys had a sickly flow, with metaphors that compleletly tore up the place.. i havent seen such a good drop since bounce left.. honestly... boith of your last verses were the best, that was when the flow picked up and the metaphors got crazy.. you two didint really outshine each other, but you built upon one another and one part made the other doper... this reminds me of n-demik's earlier drops... great job bot of you fuckerz... hit up fish out of water..

Atticus- You completely blew me away. I have never read a piece from you before that I can at least remember, but this is fantastical. Anyways, what really stood out to me was your line and also the way that you really had smooth flow, nothing really jumped out in the middle of a line and that's key to a good piece. Nothing bad about this piece, I can't help you fix any part of this because I don't know too much about OM's seeing as I've written 1. But thanks for sharing with us.

Ledgenz- I see the name suits you well, huh? What I mean is, you are obviously a wonderful topical writer and you really know what you're doing. Like Atticus, you have a great understanding of line and fluidity, that many people fail to see. Metaphors were one hell of a good part to your piece and I loved the wording to most of your section. Great work on your behalf as well!

I'd like to nominate this piece, but I am still not sure if I'd give it a HoF title, you know? But I am thinking about it. GREAT WORK FROM ABSTANTI COLLECTIVE!
