Once the dust settled, I awakened..
under rusted metal framework
from a hundred year old atrium
as I lay there with a blank stare
the day became apparent
an errant sunray made its way through

I'm not one to read/vote on topicals but tryign to do the forum sections and the writers a favor here. Sick of seeing this shit in FL, tbh. So everyone get the fuck off of your high horse and help close this wack ass battle.
Best part of your verse. I felt like you were very basic with the topic, actually. Your rhyme scheme/end rhymes were HORRIBLE and a lot of your stanza's through me off greatly, tbr. I think you could have did more with your end rhymes to help the lines transition a lot smoother because for me, they did not. Not sure what accent you have but this piece hardly rhymed. And if I'm wrong? Then oh well, this is FL and I'm going based off of who I felt executed the topic better and rhymes better because I am not a topicalist and could careless. That shit was nice. I think you did more with this topic and actually enjoyed the read, tbh. No type of dope rhyme scheme or nothing but you at least rhymes your end rhymes. A lot of nice visuals/imagery as well in your verse. I liked how you transitioned your topic as well and capitalized on it. In the parts quoted, I felt as if I was the person you were seeing through the eyes off which IMO is dope. Nah but seriously this was a decent battle but kungpow got out written in this battle. It seems Frost had a better understanding of the topic and delivered his verse with alot of metaphors and shit thaty really spiced his verse up.. Kungpow was good but I feel his flow was off in some parts, and also he was to blunt with his wording... meaning he didn't use enough literary devices and didn't use em in the right places. Good battle boys
