Golden State Warriors have lost its shot in the 2016 NBA Finals but Stephen Curry still has good news for his fans – the new Under Armour Curry Back 2 Back MVP pack is finally coming.

The latest edition in Curry’s UA line is set to unveil on Friday (June 24). This limited edition set will feature Curry’s signature sneakers – the Curry One and Curry Two, The Bitbag reported.

The new UA Curry Back 2 Back MVP pack is in honor of the NBA superstar’s achievement after being named as the NBA’s MVP for two consecutive years and by unanimous decision for the first time in the NBA history.

The Golden State Warriors guard bagged all 131 first-place votes, including 130 from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, and one from the Kia MVP fan vote. San Antonio Spurs Kawhi Leonard came in second place in the voting, while Cleveland Cavaliers’ star LeBron James followed in third.

According to Under Armour official site, the MVP UA Curry 1 has patented Charged Cushioning that helps absorb impact, an AnaFoam upper; an external heel counter, and herringbone outsole for superior court feel and control. It also features the number “30” on the tongue.

The Under Armour Curry 2, on the other hand, has “MVP” stamped across the tongue. It also features a SpeedForm tech upper and charged midsole.

The two pairs will be available for only $400 and both are being housed in a giant shoebox. The Curry Back 2 Back MVP pack included last year’s “MVP Under Armour Curry 1” in a new white/black colorway with gold accent, while the UA Curry 2 has two-tone palette of black and gold, Kicks on Fire noted. Each model also has notable branding on the quarter panels and the theme passes across the tongue, upper and throughout the whole shoes.

Both pairs also feature Curry’s guiding ideas — Faith, Passion, Mindfulness – into the inside of the tongues, The Bitbag noted.

Curry showed off the shoes during the 2016 NBA playoffs. He wore the UA Curry 1 during Game 5 against the Cavs, while the Under Armour Cury “Back 2 Back MVP” made its debut on the hard court during Game 6.

ESPN earlier reported that Curry is the first player in the NBA history at any position to average 30 ‎points per game in less than 35 minutes per game over a full season. He is also the first two-time MVP in Warrior’s history and also the 11th player to win back-to-back MVP awards in the NBA’s 70-season history.
