I thought for sure you woulda brought the fire, but most of your shit was very simple, direct and lacked any real creativity or wit. You came too personal without the impact of creative concepts which hurt you immensely. In my opinion. Token took this easily. Had a lot more personals and wordplay that worked into lines that were quotable than Chrit did. Not sayin` Chrit dropped a bad verse at all. But when it came to comparin` the two. I got Toke winnin` this one by 10 lines that I quoted. The 1st 2 I quoted were weak until I read the next 2 and seen how he tied it in. Seems to me he took an extra few steps than Chrit did in this match so he could walk away with the win.

you've pressed this issue far too much now. it's been played out on him for seasons.
fuck this battle was dope. this was better than token vs. phly by far. this is a battle I'd might actually vote into legends. Most bars from both sides were dope. both only had a couple misses each which is phenominal for a battle of this many lines. but when I go over everything I see dopeness if both verses. fresh w/p's, dope punches, crisp wording, nice flow, nice multi's.. the whole nine yards. I think token hurt his verse though by stressing the same issue so much. and that's what gave Chrit the inch in this race..
I gotta go with Chrit, both were dopeness. battle of the season in my eyes. but bartender was slightly more diverse with his verse by not stressing one topic multiple times like token did. bar stayed consistent basically all the way through while I felt token was a little repetitive at the end and fell off a little bit in the last few. other than that nearly of all of this was dope..

Well, this is close. Could go either way depending on tastes I guess, but judging from my own breakdown, i'm surprised. I thought Token was gonna take this no doubt, but i've actually got Chrit winning. Both verses were solid. They were filled with some played stuff, some solid stuff, and a few highlights. The playeds and the solids were fairly evenly spread, but chrit had a few more of the highlights. Some of the wording killed a fair few punches though, quite a lot, and a couple of times the concept was alright but the punch wasn't there. I dunno, both verses were at once fairly consistent and frustratingly held back by some little things that imo make a world of difference to how smooth a verse reads and how much you get out of a concept. A few things here (some of Chrit's w/p misdirection and a few of Toke's more unsual bars) just came off clunky to me, and had potential to be done better, which was a shame cos several of the concepts were nice and fresh. Kinda makes me wish you'd taken til friday. But anyway, that's mostly irrelevant cos it happened in both drops. Fuck, i won't waffle, what's the point, cool battle, a solid if slightly frustrating read. Like I said before, it's close, but to my surprise, i'm leaning towards Chrit. Fuck this is hard to vote on though. He just had a few more concepts that stood out.
edit - i just caught the fedor line which for some reason or another i missed the wp in. that was actually really nice, one of the best of the battle. i've still got chrit though, but by a VERY small margin.

Broke it down n it seems that I have token winning on stand outs but I still don’t feel confident calling him the winner. I skimmed a couple other votes to see what others thought which I rarely do because I don’t want my opinion to be swayed by someone else. But in the end for me it came down to a couple of things. For one Chrit usally drops a far more fluid verse than the one he posted. He rhymed at all with star in one bar n then the Windsor knot bar he rhymed happens n hanging but it got quoted on the dopeness of wordplay alone. The second thing was that both of you were somewhat repetitive. Token with the biting concepts and Chrit brought up star in I think 5 bars. I don’t know every time I try to pick out one thing that was worse in one verse I come back to seeing something similar in the other verse as well. But for some reason ima goo with my gut feeling n vote token on the account of coming with a slightly more direct, personal, fluid verse. Basically a coin flip. Good battle n a great way to end the season.

holy crap this was a pretty nice read. ive heard bar talk alot about how he can try if he wants to, but never does, blah blah blah. well this is by far the best ive read from him in a long time. same with token.. i aint been around much last season, so readin both ya stuff is reletively new to me. BAR: dude i think you had like 2 bars that i wasnt feelin. that was a pretty solid verse, came really creative, and i think the thing that stood out the most was the wording.. cus you usually have cool ideas and concepts, but the way they're worded sometimes takes away from their max potential. ya stepped it up at the right time imo. had some nice personals in there, and even a few i actually laughed out loud at. good shit overall. TOKEN: you got a creative head on ya shoulders dude. liked the majority of your verse as well.. only thing, i felt ya started off kinda rocky, and ended kinda rocky. the middle of ya verse was badass though. definitely had lotb with the bartender/henessey line.. but there was like 5 of ya bars that i just wasnt feelin. i DID feel however, ya came more personal, and of the 'ohhhh shit' lines u took that category as well. but overall, i think chrit outdid ya in this one.. not only in consistency, but with his execution and delivery of his concepts and lines. i felt like a got a fuller effect from him than yours. wasnt a blowout by any means, but i got chrit winning this one slightly. good luck to both of ya though, cool reads. congrats.
