Years ago, before your time, back when Shadowz Ill ran this place… There was a points system and a shop. You could wager points/money/RB dollars or whatever you want to call the forum currency on your battles. In the shop you could then ‘purchase’ things like a custom user title, avatar, coloured user text glows and whatnot.
We even used to bet on boxing using the forum currency. I remember specially Lennox Lewis vs Tyson going down and people betting on it.
Some users who were good with sig graphics and whatnot back then used to make blinging avatars and sigs for people for currency.

Aware. Doesn’t change the fact that the math is off, playa.
it uses win percentage, how many battles, no one can be on there with just 1 - 0, the last log-in is applied. and it uses wins/losses. It is a really big formula that gets used a lot for competitive things, I was going to use the one they use for chess which is similar, but it also takes into account the record of the person you beat and that affects the percentage, beat someone shit you get less points than beating someone great. also, messiah has logged in with in 6 months its why he is there.
Wouldn't 41-0 be 100%?

So what it does is even though the user has a perfect win record ( 100 percent ) the Beysian Average lowers it due to the influence of the average win rate of all users, and the constant factor, so it pretty much moderates extreme values like a 100 percent win rate from a really small number of battles. by considering the overall average and constant factor.
that way we don't have the top ten, being the people with 1 - 0 records. if that makes sense.
