this is a complete re-write on a piece i did 3 years ago. its a story about a man who is killed and comes back to life as a zombie to take revenge on his killers. it too damn long to post in one go (i aint even finsihed re-writing it yet), but enjoy this first chapter. incidentaly, this is the piece that got me my cypher name "johnny 6 feet", since the zombie persona started taking over the raps i was writing then.
i remember the night like it was yesterday/
in my mind, i've tried to construct up a better way/
to deal with the situation i was facing/
but it was fate, making its regal proclamation/
i was on the route home with a girl on my arm/
feeling inside like i had the world in my palm/
the attack came from the back range and such/
6 men, all of them armed, the pain too much/
it turned out the said lady was the ex of the leader/
he was calling her a cheater, the man's a wife beater/
i fought the best i could but the odds were too high/
it wasnt long before i felt steel from a few guys/
they left me, i realised i was bleeding to death/
the girl ran for her life while i was speeding to rest/
the ambulance was too late, i expired at last/
and so i'm told, my soul-less body was retired to grass/
6 months past, i dont know where i was at the time/
then my eyes snapped open, i was back in my mind/
i reached out in the dark and felt the coffin lid/
somehow pushed it open with retching and coughing fits/
i clawed upwards through the dirt, kept spitting it out/
to the surface, breathed ait with a split in my mouth/
examined myself, my clothes and my flesh were ragged/
my body was still dead but animated and ravaged/
i realised i had a purpose in this new resurrection/
to take revenge on my killers for my own redemption/
my voice rasped as i cleared my throat, then i spoke/
"this is my oath, all listeners can write this in my quotes/
the six sick fucks who took my soul from the earth/
will all fall victim, my foes will taste dirt!"/
i brushed myself off and grabbed a pipe from the ground/
focused where my enemies soul light could be found/
my instincts told me nothward, i moved forwards/
dragging my weapon behind me, i cursed i four words/
"death to those fuckers!" and as the sun set/
i started to run, set on my task to blood let/
